Given that Senator Diegnan is graciously already a co-sponsor for this bill a good next step would be to follow up with his office thanking him for being a sponsor and asking him what's next with it, what's going on with it, like what can he or we do to help get it heard and passed or why isnt it coming up for a vote and are there some legislators who are against it. That would be great to know. Thank you!
